DescriptionSpend a full day exploring one of the most beautiful regions of Croatia. Your first stop will be in the charming village of Karanac, in the heart of Baranja region. Here you will be served warm bread and local meat delicacies to give you energy for your adventures. Then, head to the village museum of traditional crafts, where you will learn more about the culture and art of Baranja. Next, you'll enjoy a cooking demonstration of a traditional meal prepared over an open fire. Then while lunch is cooking, you'll have the chance to explore the region's oldest wine cellar and taste three varieties of exquisite wine. After lunch, you'll have time to explore Kopački Rit Nature Park, sometimes called the Amazon of Europe. Finally, visit Osijek, the region's administrative center, where you'll discover the magnificent 18th-century fortress of Tvrđa before returning to Zagreb.
