Description
This is by far the best gastro experience in Dubrovnik Countryside. You get to visit authentic country house and eat only locally grown produce; meat, cheese and fresh octopus directly from the sea. 'Peka' is unique historical pot used for preparing food. Dish is prepared with absence of air so it is unique combination of baking and cooking at the same time. It is made directly in the fire and ashes make it airtight. The aromas that dishes get from the local wood make it incredible and give it special taste! Besides meat or octopus under the bell, you get to try local aperitifs and homemade wine that perfectly fits the dish. Sample menu: 1. Aperitifs: Various homemade traditional brandies 2. Charcuterie: Home made bread, dry aged prosciutto and cheese from local farms make a delightful starter. Watch out, don't eat too much and spoil your lunch! 3.
