Description
This tour starts with a 30-minutes ride to village Milna or, as the Venetians called it, “Valle di mille navi” (the bay of a thousand ships). After a coffe break, take a walk along a beautiful long coastline where are stone houses that are small masterpieces of plebeian architecture. Also, in the village is an amazing Baroque church with a typically Dalmatian bell tower so make sure to check that out too. From Milna, you have around 40 minutes ride to a town Hvar. If you are in an exploring mode, take a stroll through the old town and visit the Cathedral of Saint Stephen, Bishop’s palace, and Hvar Theatre, the oldest public theatre in Europe. A fifteen-minute hike will take you to the Španjola fortress, a place with a breathtaking view of the entire Hvar archipelago. If you want to take it slow, you can have your lunch break or go for a swim. Pakleni islands are a goup of sixteen small island and only a few of them are inhabitated. We will visit Palmižana in Vinogradišće bay that has an amazing sandy beach so you can go for a swim, but that is not the only thing you can do. You can also take a walk to a botanic garden that is only a ten-minute walk from the beach. The island has a bit of a jungle vibe so you will definetly have an interesting time exporing it. After Palmižana it is time to head back to Split.Includes
