Description
Embark on a full-day trip from Dubrovnik to the Elaphite Islands. Kayak, snorkel, and swim amongst lush scenery as you explore Lopud Island, the Green Cave, and Šipan. Stop at the village of Suđurađ to try local food and venture to the uninhabited island of Ruda. After arriving at Lopud via ferry, head to the base to get geared up. During a safety talk, your tour leader will provide kayaking instructions and explain the equipment so you can have the best experience. Once ready, set off across the channel for the island of Šipan. Before arriving at the Green Cave, an orchestrated sound of cicadas from Šipan will lure you to its coast. Once there, tie up the kayaks and get ready for swimming and snorkelling in the ethereal green light of this secluded cave. A high cliff awaits for the brave ones. Following along the coast, arrive at a delightful fishing village of Suđurađ on the island of Šipan. Have a break for lunch in one of the restaurants that provide fresh local delicacies. Enjoy fresh fish caught the very same day with homemade olive oil (costs not included). The last stop of the day is the small uninhabited island of Ruda. Following its coast, arrive at the hidden rusty cave on the other side of the island. Paddle inside the cave, snap some photos of intricate details, and feel like a pirate while hiding in the shade of this rocky grotto. On the way back to the base, paddle in front of a picturesque 15th-century monastery and arrive back at Lopud. After dropping off your gear, receive your return ferry tickets. Before your return ferry trip, you can go for a walk, swim, or enjoy a drink on the promenade.Includes
