St.Jacob's Church is located directly in the city of Opatija just off the Lungomare boardwalk. Originally built in the 14th century this architectural masterpiece is a beautiful attraction. The church is also how Opatija got its name as it was originally called St.Jacob's Abbey, abbey in Croatian is opatija.
The church is situated in the glorious St.Jacob park. This beautifully manicured park is comprised of hectares of lush mediteranean vegetation, colourful flowers and well kept emerald lawns.
