Eco-Village Kokorici

Located in the idyllic village of Kokorici, Eco-Village Kokorici is a fabulous place to learn and experience more about the way our ancestors once lived. In the old stone home of Antun Prze Prvan a collection of items that were once used for farming and everyday life can be found on display. On special occasions folklore dance groups, klapa groups or various artists perform here creating a wonderful ambiance and adding to the authentic experience. With over 14 old stone houses Kokorici is a phenomenal tribute to the history of this part of Dalmatia.

The Konoba (old Dalmatian restaurant) also encompasses numerous ancient artefacts and every piece of furniture and décor has its own story. The traditional food served varies from meat specialities, freshly caught game and a wide variety of home-made wines and rakija.

At Eco-Village Kokorici you will also find horses, cows, chickens and numerous other animals. If you arrive at the right time you can watch how the locals milk a cow, produce cheese or complete various other agricultural tasks.

Recreational activities in true Dalmatian spirit include bocci, card games, rock throwing, long jump, tug of war and other numerous village sports.
