The fantastic Mimara Museum is one of Croatia's most significant cultural venues. With over 3750 various artifacts featuring sculptings, paintings and so much more.

The Mimara museum, officially named the 'Art Collection of Ante and Wiltrud Topic Mimara' opened its doors to the public in 1987. Housed in a beautiful, Neo-Renaissance palace, the museum features 3,750 works of art from different cultures and civilizations. The museum includes 450 pictures and drawings (Raphael, Velasquez, Rubens, Rembrant, Goya), 200 sculptures from antiquity to 20th century, unique archeological findings from ancient Greece and Egypt, magnificent glass collection and numerous European workshops displayed in over 300 exhibits. Themed exhibits are continuously organized, along with expert groups and frequent educational workshops.
