Named after the patron saint of Imotski, the Church of Our Lady of Angels is situated at the entrance of the ancient Topana Fortress.
This votive church was built in the 18th century as gratitude to the people of this region for protecting their land. After the fall of the Ottomans and 200 years of Turkish rule, the church commemorated the people of Imota's freedom.
