Mastercard, Visa and American Express are widely accepted however smaller businesses in rural towns may only accept cash. Bank machines and major banks can be found in all areas of Croatia.

Money orders and travelers cheques can be redeemed for their value in all banks across Croatia. Personal identification such as a passport or identity card are needed.
