Description
Kayak or canoe down the gentle rapids of the Zrmanja River, starting at Kaštel Žegarski. Follow your guide through a scenic canyon, spotting local fish and birds, and learning about karst formations. Along the way, encounter waterfalls and rapids before reaching the village of Muskovci, where you can buy a meal.
The trip begins with basic handling instructions on safe, beginner-friendly rapids. After the tour, transportation back to the starting point is provided if you parked your car there. A transfer option from Zadar and nearby areas is available for an extra fee; check availability when booking as van seats are limited.

Important Information
- Arrive at Kaštel Žegarski 30 minutes before the tour starts
- If using pickup from Zadar or Šibenik, allow 5 extra minutes for traffic
- No prior kayaking experience needed; children from 6 years old can participate if accompanied by a parent
- Limited availability for three-person kayaks
- Rafting boats may be used if water levels are high
- Low water levels are possible in summer months (July–September)
- For safety, only one person per kayak may go down the three-meter waterfall; others will walk around it
- The largest 12-meter waterfall cannot be navigated by kayak and will be bypassed on foot (approximately 2-minute walk)
