Together, we’ll explore the most important sights and stories of Downtown and the Upper Town while uncovering the key events that transformed old Zagreb into the city it is today. I will take you to places that matter, such as the green Zrinski Square, the main city square and the old part of the city. I will tell you stories about people Zagrebians are proud of and bring the past to life by connecting it with everyday life in Croatia’s capital. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Museum of Lost Tales, a place where the oral folkloric traditions of Zagreb and its surroundings meet the extraordinary talent of Croatian multimedia artist Zdenko Bašić. After a glimpse of Novi Zagreb, the post-1945 modern face of the city, we’ll wrap up the walk in the lively Republic of Croatia Square, where you will get some hand-picked recommendations to help you make the most of your time in Zagreb.
