Description
Travel comfortably in an air-conditioned vehicle from Trogir or Split to Mostar. Upon arrival, a guide will introduce the city’s history and lead you through the old bazaar and museum, where you can admire traditional shops and workshops. Guests can also taste a glass of local wine.
Visit the main mosque and walk across the 16th-century Turkish bridge, which gave the city its name. Free time is available for shopping and sampling Bosnian specialties.
The tour continues to Medjugorje, a famous pilgrimage site. Pilgrims and visitors can attend a holy mass and visit Apparition Hill, where the Virgin Mary reportedly appeared to children in the early 1980s. Enjoy sightseeing and free time for coffee or an optional walk to Apparition Hill.
