Description
Your day begins as you meet the team in front of the BG Nautica agency, where a professional instructor greets you and prepares your equipment. After a brief introduction to the basics of diving — breathing through the regulator, equalizing ear pressure, and communicating with hand signals underwater — you board the boat and set off toward Fumija, a calm bay near Čiovo Island.
The moment you enter the water, a world of crystal-clear, turquoise sea opens up around you. With your instructor by your side every step of the way, you descend gently into shallow, well-lit waters where you'll spot schools of fish, sea urchins, perhaps a hidden octopus tucked between the rocks, and swaying meadows of posidonia seagrass that ripple like an underwater forest. The dive lasts up to 60 minutes, depending on your air consumption and conditions.
After surfacing, as you dry off and unwind on deck, the boat cruises toward the famous Blue Lagoon. Rocky shores and a sandy seabed come into view, tinting the water an almost surreal blue-turquoise hue. Here you have free time to swim, snorkel across the shallows, simply relax in the sun, or head to one of the nearby restaurants for lunch.
The day winds down with a relaxed cruise back to Split, the coastline fading into the distance behind you — a perfect close to a day that combined the thrill of your first dive with the calm of one of the Adriatic's most beautiful bays.
