Makarska Sport Center

Makarska Sport Center hosts numerous sporting competitions, music events and offers visitors various recreational activites. These fantastic facilities are the main hub for active tourists and locals.

Makarska Sport Center was constructed in 1960 and his since undergone numerous renovations and additional facilities have been coonstructed. Today the entire complex spans across 50 000 square meters along the edges of the city center, the neighborhood of Dugis and Park Osejava. The most recent adition occured in 2000 with the complete construction of an additional modern complex providing numerous additional facilities.

Indoor facilities include martial arts and boxing hall, two swimming pools with spectator benches, gymnasium, table tennis facilities, exercise and fitness room, multipurpose hall, auxiliary sports hall and bowling alley.

Outdoor facitilies include bocce ball courts, basketball court, tennis courts, auxiliary grass stadium, soccer courts, athletic tartan tracks, large main stadium.

Various activties including summer concerts, charity events and private celebrations are also hosted at the Makarska Sports Center. Numerous local and international teams and athletes use these facilties for thier preparational trainings. MSC is also home to the Makarska men's league soccer team Zmaj. These facilities provide people of all ages numerous recreational activities and programs including swimming lessons for children, badminton competitions, private trainers, bowling for fun, pick-up basketball games and numerous others activties.

Working hours

Stadiums and sports halls open everyday from 8.30 - 22.00.

Pool is currently closed for annual cleaning until August 16th.

Gym/Exercise room open everyday from 8.30 - 21.30
