Description

Spend a relaxed day on the Adriatic with a two-hour panoramic cruise around the Korčula Riviera and the small islands that scatter across the sea in front of the Old Town, then stay on the island of your choice for as long as you like.

You set off from Korčula Town harbour at 10:00, sailing out past the medieval walls for one of the best views of the fortified Old Town there is: the stone towers rising straight out of the water, with the Pelješac mountains behind. From there the boat weaves through the archipelago, passing the islands of Stupe, Vrnik and Badija and the coastal village of Lumbarda. The scenery keeps shifting, hidden turquoise bays, rocky beaches, dense pine forest and traditional stone houses, and your captain shares the stories behind them as you go. It is the easiest and most rewarding way to see the little islands that belong to Korčula.

At noon, the day becomes yours. Choose where to get off and how to spend the afternoon:

  • Lumbarda, sandy beaches, beach bars and restaurants, the liveliest of the three
  • Vrnik, a peaceful island village with an ancient limestone quarry whose stone built Dubrovnik's city walls
  • Badija, walking paths, clear sea, a 15th-century Franciscan monastery and free-roaming deer

Swim, snorkel, sunbathe, take a long lunch by the water, or simply wander. At 17:00 the return boat collects you from your chosen stop and brings you back to Korčula Old Town and Orebić.

With its short cruise, flexible stops and unhurried pace, this is an ideal day out for couples, families and small groups who want the beauty of the archipelago without a rigid schedule.
