Description
Rio Rafting is run by a team of five experienced skippers certified in first aid and swift water rescue. The tour includes rafting, cave exploration, cliff jumping, and swimming while maintaining a focus on guest comfort and safety.
The tour begins with a pickup at a meeting point in Split city center, followed by a one-hour drive along the Dalmatian coast to the rafting start point. Guests receive high-quality safety equipment including life jackets, helmets, paddles, and neoprene wetsuits for cold or rainy weather. Waterproof boxes are provided for personal belongings.
Rafting lasts approximately 2.5 to 3 hours on an 11 km stretch of the Cetina River featuring calm waters and rapids rated grade 2 and 3. The route passes towering cliffs and waterfalls under clear skies. Additional activities like optional cliff jumping and cave exploring are available, with alternatives such as swimming and sunbathing for those who prefer.
An optional highlight is entering a cave and jumping into a cold spring pond. The entire experience is documented with GoPro Hero 11 footage, which is shared with participants.
Guests with their own transportation can leave their vehicle at the rafting finish point and will be driven to the start point. After the tour, vehicles await guests at the finish location.
