Description

The tour starts at the small beach in Pile Bay, just below Dubrovnik's western Old Town entrance. After a safety briefing, paddle along the city walls to Betina Cave for a 20 to 30-minute swimming and snorkeling break. Then, continue toward Lokrum Island, learning about local history and culture before returning to the starting point.

Choose from morning, afternoon, or sunset tours. Departure points can be reached by entering under Pile Gate or from the pier next to Restaurant Orhan, then turning left through a passage to the beach with kayaks marked Adventure Dalmatia.

Additional Information

• Waterproof 60L bags are provided to store personal belongings during the tour
• Groups usually remain small but can increase to 20 participants depending on sea conditions and group composition
• A basic understanding of English is recommended, especially for beginners
• Not recommended for people with motion or sea sickness, low fitness, heart or back problems
• No changing rooms or toilets on site; a public shower is available nearby
• All participants must follow guide safety instructions
• Parking near the Old Town is expensive and limited; public transport or ride-sharing is advised
• Non-swimmers may participate if sea conditions are calm; otherwise, refunds or rescheduling are offered
• A small child (minimum age 5) can sit in the kayak’s middle seat

Important Information

• A good fitness level is required to paddle for approximately 1.5 hours, including breaks
• Participants will get wet up to the waist; dress accordingly
• Kayaks are sit-on-top doubles; single kayaks are only used in specific cases and cannot be requested

• The tour requires a minimum of 4 participants; if not met, it will be canceled with options to reschedule or refund
• Tour cancellations due to weather may happen shortly before departure, with rescheduling or refund options available
