Description
Upon finding your guide at Hrvojeva 1 street, you will begin a 3-hour guided tour that includes generous tastings of traditional Croatian delicacies and wines.
Your food and history adventure will begin in the Green Market where you will have a local Mediterranean brunch made of prosciutto, cheese, traditional 'peka' bread, soparnik pie and grappa.
From here, you will cover historical highlights of ancient Diocletian's Palace such as Peristil square, Golden Gate and medieval Venetian square Pjaca. Afterwards you will experience a ''konoba'' tavern-style restaurant and have traditional seafood starter with white wine and as a second course you will have two types of traditional pasta and famous black risotto with local red wine from Brač Island.
You will end your tour with light gelato or a traditional dessert, depending on the season.
Rest assured, you will enjoy this history and gourmet tour with the best of Split and its delights.
The afternoon option does not cover the Green Market because it is closed in the afternoon, so you will taste similar foods in a local tavern.
