Mario is the kindest-hearted waiter I have ever met. Throughout the entire evening, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well cared for. The food was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The live music and the beautiful view created the perfect atmosphere. Thank you for such a relaxing and memorable evening!
We had an amazing time there. The food is for everyone: from fish lovers to vegetarians… The atmosphere is amazing with an incredible view of the sea shore. But the most impactful thing for us was the lovely service. We met the waiter Joco and he not only gave us the most delicious ideas for food but also suggestion of what to visit at town (and we loved it). So if you’d like to eat and enjoy, this is a great place to go!
Ventured out of Dubrovnik old town to have dinner tonight at Taverna Arka. The view was great, as the sun set over the hills. The food was delicious. I had baked eggplant and my niece had the house made pasta with veal. Homemade bread too. She loved her strawberry Mojito and the local line I had was also very good. To top it off we had the best dessert ever-a raspberry pistachio cheesecake-like torte. Our server, Joco, was both hilarious and attentive. Gave us great recommendations on what to choose. The restaurant also offers a free shuttle back-and-forth to Dubrovnik to make it easy. Highly recommend!
We had a very good experience in Tavern Arka Restaurant. The prices are a bit high, but the food quality is excellent, all fresh, local, their bread and olive oil is homemade, it all tasted great. The view was stunning as well. Special shout out to our server who took wonderful care of us, he went above and beyond to provide high quality service, he even gave us tips about local destinations in the area. I just wish I asked his name, he deserves recognition.
I had dinner there twice during my vacation and both were extremely pleasant. Once I had a steak with vegetables and potatoes and it was easily the best steak of my life. The second time, I had some delicious tuna with the most wonderful roasted tomatoes. The waiter, Joco, was very helpful guiding me to the best options available each day and made me feel very welcome. The cherry on top was the wonderful view over the water. Highly recommend. It was better than anything. I had in Dubrovnik proper.
