CONSIDERING A SPEEDBOAT TRIP? HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW! Speedboats are open vessels with no indoor space, so you’ll be fully exposed to the elements—sun, wind, and sea spray. The back of the boat has an awning for some shade, but the front is open and uncovered. If it’s windy or wavy, expect to get splashed! If that sounds like too much for you, staying home with the TV might be the better choice. KEY DETAILS: - TOUR TYPE: Group speedboat tour (up to 12 passengers). - LANGUAGE: Skippers speak English only—they’re not multilingual experts! - DRINKS: Included onboard (water, iced tea), but this isn’t a bar—expect them chilled, not ice-cold. - SPEED: The boat cruises at 20-25 knots. - FACILITIES: No toilet onboard or at the pickup point, so plan ahead. BEFORE YOU GO: This is a 4-hour tour, and you’ll need to be mobile enough to board the speedboat. We don’t recommend this for individuals with severe mobility issues. ITINERARY HIGHLIGHTS MEETING POINT: It's crucial to arrive at the meeting point at least 10 to 15 minutes prior to boarding. Kindly make every effort to avoid being late. STOP 1: SWIMMING BAY We’ll anchor in a beautiful bay for swimming and snorkeling (masks and snorkels provided). The water is 2-3 meters deep—perfect for a dip. Free drinks (water, iced tea) are available onboard. Our skippers work hard in the sun and sea, so if they forget to offer, just ask—they’re happy to assist! STOP 2: VARIABLE The stop along the way will depend on a variety of factors — including the weather forecast, sea conditions, wind direction, and how busy certain spots are. Based on these, we'll choose the best possible location for the day. It might be a charming fishing village tucked away on one of the islands, a secluded bay perfect for a refreshing swim, or another beautiful hidden gem. Either way, it’ll be a special place worth discovering. STOP 3: PREKO TOWN Wrap up in Preko with plenty of choices: swim at a sandy beach, take a short 20-meter swim to Galevac Island, or unwind at local restaurants, cafes, or ice cream shops. • If you see that it is a very windy day and the sea is very rough, keep in mind that this is an open speedboat and you could get wet during the drive due to occasional sea spray, so please prepare appropriately for that possibility
