Description

Escape the crowds and experience the Adriatic like a local on a relaxing half-day boat tour around Ugljan Island. Perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and enjoying the sun, this small-group experience offers a blend of nature, history, and authentic island charm. Whether you’re a couple, a family, or a group of friends, this tour is a peaceful and scenic way to enjoy Dalmatia. Your adventure begins in Foša, a small, historic harbor tucked into Zadar’s Old Town, just beneath the city walls. It’s the perfect place to begin—a mix of local life and ancient history. After a brief introduction, you’ll board your boat and set sail for your island voyage. Just off the coast of Preko lies Galevac (Školjić), a tiny islet blanketed in pine trees. Its turquoise, shallow waters are perfect for a relaxing swim or snorkel. You can also swim ashore to explore on foot. Nestled in the center of the island is a peaceful 15th-century Franciscan monastery, surrounded by nature and silence—a true hidden sanctuary just minutes from the mainland. We then cruise along the coastline to Kali, one of Ugljan’s prettiest fishing villages. With its traditional stone houses, scenic harbor, and quiet alleys, it feels like stepping back in time. Wander along the seaside promenade, grab a coffee or homemade ice cream, or cool off with a swim in a nearby cove. The atmosphere is calm, authentic, and full of coastal charm. The final stop is Otrić Bay, a secluded bay with a sandy seabed and crystal-clear water, surrounded by untouched nature. This peaceful bay is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, or simply unwinding on the boat as you listen to the sounds of the sea. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down and savor the moment. The tour ends with a cruise back to Zadar, passing quiet coastlines and open sea. It’s a refreshing, soul-soothing experience that shows you the Adriatic from its most beautiful angle. Depending on the weather and sea conditions, our tours are subjected to change and adjustments.
