Description
Join us for an unforgettable half-day journey into the heart of the picturesque Konavle Valley, just 20 km south of Dubrovnik. Discover the traditions of this stunning wine-growing region as we enjoy the warm hospitality of three welcoming hosts. Our adventure begins at a family estate in the charming village of Čilipi. Here, our first host will share the secrets of traditional olive oil. We'll also savor the flavors of homemade Prošek, a sweet dessert wine, and sample freshly produced olive oil. Next, we’ll visit a scenic estate by the serene Ljuta River, nestled in a protected natural landscape. Our second host will take us on a captivating journey through the history of the Konavle Valley, sharing stories of its traditional ways of life. A short stroll through nature will lead us to a historic water-powered mill, where we’ll witness the age-old processes of flour milling and wool processing. During this visit, we’ll also enjoy a tasting that includes homemade liqueurs, candied almonds, orange peels, prosciutto, cheese, olives, cucumbers, and a selection of white and red wines, as well as sparkling and still water. For the grand finale, we’ll head to a family-owned winery, where we’ll taste local wine liqueur and both white and red wine while learning about the winemaking process. We’ll also take in the breathtaking views of the valley and enjoy a leisurely walk through the vineyard, completing this memorable journey through the Konavle Valley.Includes
