The tour begins at 8:30 AM in Split, taking you along the scenic coastline to your first destination - the UNESCO-listed town of Trogir. Known for its Romanesque and Gothic architecture, Trogir’s Old Town is a treasure of narrow streets, charming squares, and a lively waterfront promenade. Enjoy a guided introduction followed by free time to explore at your own pace. Next, continue to the Klis Fortress, one of Dalmatia’s most impressive medieval landmarks. Perched high above Split, the fortress offers breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea and surrounding countryside. Learn about its strategic role in defending the region and its modern fame as a filming location for Game of Thrones. After visiting Klis, guests can choose to: Return to Split at approximately 12:00 PM with the tour guide, or Continue the adventure by joining the Hop-On Hop-Off Green Line, which departs from Klis and visits additional countryside attractions such as the Olive Museum, Salona Archaeological Site, and Žnjan Beach. Your ticket also includes a free guided walking tour of Diocletian’s Palace, available at 10:30, 12:00, 13:30, and 16:30. You can join the walking tour on the same day or the following day, allowing full flexibility during your stay in Split. This flexible experience lets you choose between a relaxing half-day discovery or a full-day exploration of Dalmatia’s countryside and coastal heritage.
