Description

This full-day boat trip starts at 09:20 AM from Opatija (or at 10:00 AM from Lovran), offering a relaxed way to explore swimming spots along the Kvarner coast and the northern part of Cres Island. The first stop is Brseč Beach on the mainland - a striking pebble beach set beneath high cliffs, known for its clear waters and natural surroundings. CNN ranked it as the second most beautiful Croatian pebble beach in 2018. Guests can spend an hour swimming, relaxing, or simply enjoying the serene atmosphere before the journey continues across Kvarner Bay towards Cres Island. On Cres, the boat explores the island’s northern coast, renowned for its unspoilt beauty and secluded bays. The first stop is Smrdeća Beach, famous for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and peaceful setting, perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or simply soaking up the tranquil surroundings. The next stop is Badnjev Beach, another quiet bay where guests can enjoy more time in the sea, unwind on board, or admire the scenery. The final swimming stop is Bay Banja, a sheltered cove ideal for one last refreshing swim and some sun before the boat returns to the mainland. The tour lasts approximately seven hours, with a return to Opatija around 5 PM. Any adjustments during the tour are communicated by the captain and usually agreed with guests on the spot to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. This tour is primarily focused on swimming rather than sightseeing. If you do not plan to swim, please note that the sun and heat can be quite tiring. For non-swimmers, life jackets are available upon request. We highly recommend cooling off in the water during the trip. Some beaches along the tour can only be reached by swimming, but guests don’t have to go all the way to the shore. The boat stays anchored in the bay, allowing you to relax and swim nearby. A ladder on the boat provides easy access in and out of the water.
