Description

Discover the island’s traditions on this unforgettable lavender tour. After a short guided tour of Hvar town, we'll discover villages, lavender fields, and olive groves - meet local artisans and taste homemade products. We'll visit Velo Grablje, one of the biggest lavender producers on the island, in the 1970s. Go for a honey and brandy tasting in the village of Brusje and visit the Lavedner family farm in Jelsa. You'll learn about lavender production, get a hands-on experience, taste honey and lavender products, visit smaller villages, and get the big picture of the island and its lavender heritage. Lavender is a seasonal plant, so the best time to see lavender fields is in June and July. And even after the harvest, products and fields are equally stunning. Our half-day tour will take you through the half of the island, and you'll savour natural cosmetics, honey, brandy, traditional sweets, natural juices, and much more. Panoramic stops offer a view of our terraces, canyons, the mainland, nearby islands, and a UNESCO-protected Stari Grad field. And just before getting back to Hvar, we'll stop at the fortress above Hvar to soak in all the wonderful experiences while overlooking Hvar and the Adriatic Sea.
