Description

Your tour starts in the twilight time, in front of the main local cemetery of Boninovo. You will find your guide at the main gate of Boninovo cemetery, and follow her to listen all about the haunted history of Dubrovnik. The tour takes approximately 1.5 hours and ends in front of the Old city, near the gate of Pile. During the tour, we will first explore the area called Boninovo that is still shrouded in a dark veil. It is home to the main Dubrovnik cemetery and many old and forgotten renaissance palaces. Rumors have it that some are haunted, while others hide intriguing historical tales and anecdotes. After the Boninovo area, you will proceed to the charming Gradac Park, where you'll hear dark stories about local wraiths, public executions, diseases, curses and other legends of Dubrovnik. Following this, you will continue through the Pile area, before ending the tour safely in front of the Old City. Not to reveal all the secrets, but you can expect to see some beautiful afterglow views along the way and enjoy the magical atmosphere offered by an evening walk.
