DescriptionStart your Dubrovnik tour with a convenient pick-up at your centrally located hotel. After a short meet and greet with your driver/guide you will start your day of sightseeing and adventure. Enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive to your first location full of fun facts from your driver and beautiful sights. Begin the day with Dubrovnik's natural highlights and best photo-points. Visit picturesque places like the spring of river Ombla, Franjo Tudman bridge and Mt. Srd. Before setting off to your next location you will get the chance to stop at Fort Imperial on top of Mt. Srd, take some time out of your tour to go and visit the Homeland War Museum, a must-see if you are in the region. Continue south along the coastline while your guide explains the fascinating history of the city of Dubrovnik. En route your guide will also fill you in on the importance of your next stop – the small town of Cavtat and the ruins of ancient Epidaurum. Once you arrive in Catvat you will partake in a short walking tour through the area's historic centre, learning about it's unique history and some fun facts along the way. After exploring Cavtat you will drive further south into the fertile Konavle valley where you will enjoy your last stop. Whilst here you will get the chance to see why it has traditionally been considered the number one food producing region for southern Croatia. Learn why the cultural heritage of this part of Croatia is really rich and you will get insight into the life of locals outside of the touristic Dubrovnik. Take a trip to visit the Sokol tower and marvel at a spectacular view overlooking the picturesque countryside. At the end of your tour there is an optional visit to the seaside to refresh yourself in the Adriatic Sea or grab lunch at a local restaurant, with recommendations from your experienced guide. Head back to Dubrovnik and enjoy the ride in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. Your driver will take you back to your hotel/accommodation so you can relax after an exciting day.
