DescriptionThe world-famous Stari Most (Old Bridge) is Mostar's indisputable visual highlight, with it's swooping stone arch having originally been built between 1557 and 1566 on the orders of Suleyman the Magnificent. The Trebižat River is the perfect setting for a relaxing boat ride in a traditional wooden boat. You'll see nature's best from the banks as you hear about the old customs and traditions while having a drink. The pristine aquafer waters of the Trebizat River are home to brown trout and crabs, and during the summer months, you're more than welcome to go for a swim. After the ride, a local lunch will be served consisting of a variety of homemade delicacies. Dating from the Roman times, the Ljubuski field has been a rich bread basket for the region. In preparation for your dinner, you will be invited to hand-pick fresh produce to be used later on in your dishes. Menus vary from traditional pies where you roll your own dough, to the acclaimed iron dome 'Peka' roast. All of the food will be complimented with rich side dishes, including salads and homemade brandies and wines.
