Octopus was great, cevapi a little too salty for my taste, but for most people might be ok, also cake with sides. Good portions. Really good cheesecake, so smooth and soft.
The food was great. Service was fast and the staff are nice. The ambiance is very summery. The tables are set at the alley way so its easy to people watch and the breeze of the air is nice too. You check the price first before sitting. Its a little bit pricey though but the food was great.
I came here to try their fried sardines which was good. I thought I was going to be able to eat something else, but I’m glad I didn’t order another plate. The server was really helpful who did suggest that the plate was good enough. I was hungry, but not starving and the plate of sardines for a pre dinner was just right. I had a local Croatian white wine which was suggested by the server. I’ve never had fried sardines before and it was good with lemon juice. It was even better with some bread. It got chilly at night and it was nice that they had soft blanket. Great service and good food. Enjoyed people watching while having a meal. There was no wait when I went. It was a couple weeks ago so I maybe it’s less busy since it’s not peak season yet. A comfy vibe in the middle of a busy center.
Quaint, family-owned business on a side street off of the main strip. It’s a hidden gem! The owners are super friendly and accommodating to customers. The home cooked food is incredibly well seasoned and made with LOVE! We had the bread (soft and fluffy), octopus salad, fresh fish (perfectly seasoned with lemon/salt/herbs), and shrimp risotto (buttery!). We want to come back again before we leave Dubrovnik! 5/5
You do not need a Michelin-star restaurant in Dubrovnik to eat extraordinary seafood. Sometimes the best meal is hidden in a small stone alley with simple cooking and people who truly care. The seafood here is prepared the way it should be: incredibly fresh fish, a little olive oil, a few spices, and respect for the ingredients. No heavy sauces, no cream — just fish that tastes like it came out of the sea that morning. This tiny family-style restaurant has only a few tables, which somehow makes the experience even more special. The grandmother/owner came out personally to greet us, creating the kind of warm, authentic atmosphere that is becoming harder to find. Our server, Phillip — a proud Macedonian man — was professional, kind, and genuinely enjoyable to talk with. Thank you for your service and conversation, Phillip. No picture of the food because we ate everything. Fortunately, I still have the receipt!
