We made a reservation in advance. Everything we tried was excellent. The price paid for such a decent meal with beautiful views to enjoy was really value for money. We might be visiting again for dinner to try another dishes and to enjoy the night view of the fortress. Highly recommend this place without hesitation.
I absolutely recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. It is seriously an outstanding place to eat. Please make a reservation to get a seat along or close to the wall with the best views. Even with a full house, the service was outstanding - very friendly and courteous. The food came out quick and the drinks were great - especially with an atmosphere that was 6/5 stars hahaha. The menu is very good and has something for everyone. Our meals were great. Thanks for the amazing start to our vacation.
Amazing view and delicious food
After a leisurely stroll through the historic streets, taking in the ancient city walls and recognising several filming locations from Game of Thrones, we settled down for a sumptuous lunch with our tour leader, Magda. The meal proved to be every bit as memorable as the sights we had just explored. We began with a selection of wood-fired pizzas, their thin, crisp crusts beautifully blistered from the oven. Equally enjoyable was the rich four-cheese pizza, its combination of cheeses delivering a wonderfully creamy and indulgent finish. The pasta dishes were equally satisfying. A comforting tomato-based spaghetti carried bright Mediterranean flavours, while the tagliatelle, tossed in a light tomato and herb sauce, was cooked al dente and allowed the quality of the ingredients to shine. The seafood risotto was perhaps the standout among the mains, creamy and full of flavour, with tender shellfish lending a delicate sweetness to every bite. What impressed us most was the freshness and honesty of the cooking. There was no unnecessary complexity,just good ingredients prepared with care and respect. Better still, the prices were surprisingly reasonable considering the quality of the food and the location within one of Croatia’s most visited destinations. Once again, our tour leader Magda demonstrated that local knowledge is invaluable. She knew exactly where to bring us, sparing us the usual tourist traps and leading us instead to a restaurant that delivered excellent food, generous portions, and outstanding value. With good food, good company, and a wonderful setting, it was a thoroughly enjoyable lunch and a perfect pause before continuing our next exploration. Cheers from group 19, Regent Seven Seas Voyager
This is an exceptionally amazing restaurant around Balkans. The food is not only tasty but is very fresh. During our stay, we have been here for 3 times and tried several dishes and each of them was marvellous. The staff is incredibly polite and deserves a raise for sure. Amazing place and amazing staff and ofcourse incredible food. I tried their sister restaurant too- it is equally good but this one hits different. So it is a must and must try I added the last picture to emphasise how much they care for their people which is gold!
