We had a very pleasant evening on the terrace. They accept outside people, u do not have to be a guest at the lavish hotel. Initially, we were drawn in by the live music — two local guys singing Ray Charles, creating a great atmosphere without being too loud or intrusive. Unfortunately, the terrace was already fully booked that evening, so we came back another time. Everything is still new as they started 3 months ago, so the place looks fresh, polished and beautifully put together. We only had two starters, desserts and wine, which was more than enough for us. We tried several wines and sparkling wines by the glass, and they were all very enjoyable. The view of Korčula is amazing, and they allow pets on the terrace, which our Rio certainly appreciated. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality of the food was excellent and matched our expectations. The staff is young, but very well trained, polite and genuinely engaging. Hopefully, they’ll manage to keep this team and continue developing them — they definitely add to the overall experience. Anastasiia and young Macedonian guy.. 5 stars.

Nice hotel with 5 star service. The hotel is brand new and located in a great location. The food was all very good. The service was top notch! Management - because the hotel is new here are some things we noticed for improvement (none really affected our stay): The bathroom and bedroom of our room had a direct line of sight from the pool, rear entrance and the public boardwalk. This forces guests in this room to either live in the dark with the curtains drawn and bathroom sutters closed, or live in a fishbowl where people can watch you use the toilet and see directly into the glass shower. A privacy hedge on the balcony would be a wise investment! The shower valve is floating causing constant temperature changes in the shower. The hot water is so hot I made tea straight from the tap! Its asking for trouble! The hot water piper has a recirculation pump which is great for instant hot water, but the way the line was run uninsulated in the floor you can feel the heat transfer in the floor near the toilet and on the toilet room wall. This is wasting energy heating the water and cooling the room back down. Id check other rooms and get ahold of the contractor that built this place to get it fixed. The water pressure is so high the toilet sprays out of the bowl and on to the floor. A pressure reducer valve would be a wise investment. Door placards are duplicate with the Do Not Disturb button and look tacky. Lighting: All of the switches are located in weird locations! We spent 10 minutes looking for the light switch to turn off the desk light only to finally discover it was hidden in a shelf behind the coffee pot. The bathroom light controller is located inside the bathroom. This means you have to fumble your way in the pitch black into the bathroom and then attempt to find the controller, then find the correct button, then the light blasts on at 100% brightness. All off button doesnt actually shut off all the lights. The bathroom and desk lights are independent. This was a real swing and a miss on the designers part. Shower: the shower doors sweep the tile floors meaning you cannot use the provided bath mat because the door cannot clear it. This also means all of your guest are stepping out of the wet shower on to the wet floor because their feet are wet and because the shower door drips directly on the tile as soon as you open it. Another small design flaw.

We stopped by the bar for a coffee with my wife, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is spotless, beautifully maintained, and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional. We were truly impressed and will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Stayed at nearby hotel. Ate at the restaurant last night. Ambience and attention to detail impeccable. My wife and I shared a seafood platter for two which was stunning. For my main I ordered octopus, my wife's main was excellent. Mine not so. It would have taken a week to chew it. I sent it back and it was replaced with with a different dish. Unfortunately they did not take my wife's meal away at the same time as mine. Hence she ate whilst I was waiting for a replacement plate. I ate alone as she had eaten when my dish (which wasn't great) arrived. These details matter. It was also clear that though we had previously booked (called in to reception) there was no table set for us. Has the makings of a great restaurant, didn't work for us. We were left disappointed. Not massively expensive, but for the price we expected better.

We recently experienced the pinnacle of Adriatic luxury, at the newly opened Hotel Katarina in Orebić. The hotel is the little sister of The Villa Korta Katarina and Winery, that manages to deliver a sanctuary which felt both exquisitely grand and remarkably intimate. The staff came out to greet us as soon as we pulled into the driveway, like a scene out of Downton Abbey! They didn’t just "pamper" us with their hospitality they created an atmosphere of pure luxury with a level of comfort and ease. Once we crossed the hotel’s threshold, the world outside faded away with a chilled glass of champagne in hand, a genuine sense of welcome and warmth was immediately created. The interiors are beautifully designed, blending airiness of nautical chic with local artistry, including stunning hand-painted murals that pay homage to Orebić’s maritime history. Our suite offered a private terrace with views of, Crayola crayon colored blues, Pelješac Channel waters and of the Island of Korčula. The culinary experience at The Captain’s Terrace is a destination unto itself. The local poached eggs at breakfast were perfect for dipping toast into the orange-colored yoke. Dinner of grilled Adriatic swordfish and garden-to-table ingredients, all perfectly paired with the signature Pošip from the Korta Katarina Winery. A true place for rest and relaxation with a touch of contentment and elegance like no other.
