Extremely UNFRIENDLY staff! I live nearby, and last night I was strolling along the beach and sat down at the bar to have a juice. While the bartender was serving me, a young waiter announced in a commanding tone that the bar was reserved for private persons only. As a professional hotelier, this is the first time I've encountered such stupidity. Unfortunately.
I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to do so for The Medistone Hotel. Quite simply, it’s a hidden jewel along the Adriatic coastline set spectacularly against the cliff face and dramatic backdrop of the Mosor mountain range, just 15 minutes from the historic town of Omiš. Whether traveling as a family or for a romantic or adventurous getaway, this stunning contemporary boutique hotel has it all. From crystal clear uncrowded waters, immaculate and generous accommodation, exquisite pool & spa facilities, exceptional restaurant including a fantastic breakfast, breathtaking views and above all, genuinely the most helpful and attentive staff we’ve ever met. In all our travels, I can safely say that myself and my family have never been treated so kindly and generously than by the hotel manager Stipe and his entire team at Medistone Hotel. We could not recommend this unique gem highly enough and can’t wait to return.
We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Medistone as a family of four (2 adults and 2 children). The hotel is beautiful, modern, and exceptionally clean, with a peaceful atmosphere that makes it perfect for relaxing. The staff were genuinely welcoming and professional, always ready to help with a smile. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and offered stunning views of the Adriatic Sea. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality food. We also loved the pool area and the hotel’s location, just a short walk from the beach and within easy reach of Omiš and the Cetina River. If you’re looking for a stylish boutique hotel with outstanding service and a relaxing atmosphere, Hotel Medistone is an excellent choice. We would happily stay here again.
The view was legendary and absolutely wonderful. The bathroom and room design were amazing, and everything was spotless. Our room was huge, and we woke up looking at the sea. It had a beach right in front with a very beautiful sea. There was also a lovely garden where you could just sit and chill in the evening. The staff was very polite and witty. Overall, we were highly satisfied. However, there were a couple of things that could be improved. The TV in the room didn't show regular channels, and we had a really hard time trying to set it up. As for the breakfast, the variety was limited but it was tasty. Their omelets and bread options were amazing; however, the desserts, cheeses, and hot dishes could be improved a bit more.
