We had a lovely 3 day stay tacked on to the end of a week in a villa elsewhere with friends. The rooms were as advertised and very clean - we liked the layout. The pools were too small/shallow for my older children, but we enjoyed being right on the beach. The inflatable obstacle course was a big hit! We all thought the food was really excellent - lovely to have langoustine, prawns or squid on offer, plus a variety of meats with vegetables and salad - really balanced and all extremely tasty. Breakfast was good too. My son enjoyed the gaming room periodically and the aqua park was as expected - not that exciting for a 13 and 10 year old, but we enjoyed a few hours there. All in all, a great few days and we’d happily return (my son wants to eat more of the ribs and beans again!).
One of the biggest highlights of this hotel, besides the excellent food, is definitely the kids' entertainment team. Giuseppe and Laura, in particular, were absolutely amazing and made our stay truly special. They were so caring, fun, and engaging that both of our children were in tears when it was time to leave because they wanted to stay with the entertainers. Thank you for making their holiday so unforgettable! The only downside was the housekeeping service. During our six-night stay, our room was properly cleaned only three times. On one occasion, after we reported the issue to the front desk, it was promptly taken care of, which we appreciated. The hotel is certainly on the expensive side, but the quality of the food and the kids' entertainment justifies the price. The only area that could use some improvement is the consistency and attention to room housekeeping. It would also be a nice gesture to offer a loyalty discount for returning guests. This was our third year staying at the hotel, and a small discount or special benefit for repeat customers would be greatly appreciated.
We had such a wonderful time at Hotel Jakov! Everything was incredibly nice and clean, from our modern room to the beautiful pool areas and beach. The absolute highlight of our trip was the amazing staff—they were so warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Excellent service, beautiful vibes, and a spotless resort. We will definitely be back!
Family week at Hotel Jakov (2 adults, kids aged 1 and 6), half board. The strongest thing about this place is the people. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful throughout — a real asset and the main reason the stay felt good. The rooms are large and well laid out for families, with a separate bunk area for the kids. The Aquapark next door is excellent, with a great toddler splash zone as well as bigger slides, and the indoor area and spved a spa make it work whatever the weather. Beautiful, clean beach and grounds. A few honest points for future guests to set expectations: - The beaches have no toilets or changing cabins, which is awkward with small children. - Food in the restaurants is mostly overpriced and surprisingly similar across the outlets — the same pizzas and kids' menus everywhere, so there's less variety than the number of restaurants suggests. - Decent coffee is only available at the bar for an extra charge; there's none worth drinking included with meals. - The resort is very large, so expect long walks — tiring with a toddler in the midday heat. - Lounge music plays almost everywhere, which won't suit everyone. Overall a well-run family resort with outstanding staff and great facilities for kids, let down mainly by pricing of extras and a samey food offer. We'd still recommend it for families — just go in knowing where the small frustrations are.
The staff was extremly kind and professional. The room was spacious and clean every day. The dinner was delicious. We ate lunch at Bongos and we were very satisfied with it too. We had memorable stay here thank to the programs. The surroundings are very beautiful and always well-kept. This is a very child-friendly place, our kids really enjoyed the stay. We are sure, we will come back someday.
