We stayed at the hotel for nine days and eight nights as a family of five. A useful tip: stays of eight nights or more qualify for a long-stay discount, which can make quite a significant difference. Our entire stay was simply wonderful. Where should I begin? The hotel The hotel is beautiful—exactly the kind of place where I want to spend a seaside holiday. The building, the hotel grounds, and the entire island have a wonderfully romantic atmosphere. It may not be ultra-modern or brand-new, but it is authentic and full of character. The building was once the residence of Count Ignacy Korwin-Milewski, which adds to its unique charm. Our rooms were very comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was stable enough even for streaming movies in the evening. Both the hotel and its surroundings were always clean and well maintained. The staff Every member of staff we met was incredibly friendly, helpful, and competent whenever something needed to be arranged or resolved. I do not want to mention individual names because I would almost certainly forget someone—but everyone was genuinely excellent. The food Both breakfast and dinner offered a wide and varied selection, and there was always plenty of everything. Even when the hotel was busy, we never had to wait long thanks to the size and capacity of the restaurant. Whenever we stayed on the island for lunch, we ate at Bistro Plaža. Everyone in our family always enjoyed the food, and the prices were very reasonable. The island and beach The beach is beautiful, and sun loungers and parasols are provided free of charge for hotel guests. Even when we arrived later in the day, we never had a problem finding available loungers. There are also plenty of activities available, including paddleboards, mini-golf, pedal boats, and more. The boat journey from Rovinj harbour to the island takes only about five minutes and is very convenient. Rovinj and the surrounding area Rovinj is a stunning town with beautiful narrow streets and a unique atmosphere. We visited several times for sightseeing, shopping, and simply walking around and enjoying the town. We also took a day trip to Pula, which was well worth visiting. For us, this was truly a top holiday destination. We had an amazing stay and will definitely return—we are certain this was not our last visit!

The views of the town and sea from our room were marvelous! The bed was quite comfortable as well and it was very convenient to have a small refrigerator in our room as well. It was nice to be able to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the view—we even managed to watch a wedding be performed near our room! Having a drying rack on our balcony was very handy to dry out wet bathing suits as well. The breakfast buffet was delicious as was the beach restaurant called Batimar. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Some improvements for consideration: Freshen up paint in the rooms and the balcony as well. The shower was small and it was tricky to get in and out without turning off the water. The bathroom had no ventilation and was very warm (during our June stay). The hairdryer was old and could only be operated in the hot bathroom. The main restaurant only offered buffet dinner and it was just so-so. If some of the tasty food prepared from the lunch restaurant (Batimar) was available for the evening meal, that would be terrific!

we are absolutely in love with this hotel - a small, unspoilt gem in the Mediterranean. The architecture, the setting is amazing, the room has a fantastic view of the old town. Staff is extremely nice, polite, helpful. Breakfast is better than in many 5* hotels (and we visit many). I would absolutely come back. The only downside is that the rooms are a bit too simple - maybe a hair dryer that doesn’t need to be continuously held down while in use would be a good idea, and more electrical outlets (next to the bed for example). The shower cabin was also very small. But otherwise we loved it!

Superb, exclusive location. Room has a sea and old town view. Breakfast buffet comprehensive, coffee could be better. Most friendly staff ever, everyone. Previous generation of hotel, well kept with the island garden and forest well kept and maintained. Easy transport to and from Rovinje by boat on the hour. Arrival and departure feels like you are a valued guest, a clockwork of actions to ensure guest are comfortable and taken care of. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway. A small coffee & tea station in the room is the only shortcoming I can think of. Will return for a longer visit.
