A beach with pretensions that far exceed what it actually offers: - two old, uncomfortable sunbeds and an umbrella (which you can't keep open all the time because of the wind) costing 45–70 euros per day; - exorbitant prices at the terrace bar: 12 euros for a 0.7L bottle of water, and then you are shown the tips options on the pos; - it is better to stick to bottled drinks, as the prepared ones are abysmal... and expensive; - if you arrive at 5:00 PM, you are charged the full price for a sunbed, yet locals are allowed to spread their towels right next to your sunbed. I gave it 2 stars only because the water and the beach were very clean and well-maintained.

The location is wonderful, the water crystal clear and there is also a beach side (tiny stones so much less painful than other Dubrovnik beaches) and a deep water entrance through a small ladder. There is also a chair for limited mobility people to enter the sea. Prices are on the high side (70 euros for 2 lounge chairs and a large row on the first row, 45 euros for 2 lounge chairs and a small umbrella on the second row. The food is on the expensive side (at least 26 euros for a 12” pizza, some 20-24 euros for a Greek salad) but what I found ridiculous after paying for lounge chairs and food was the shower. This place does not offer showers but you have to pay 50 cents/30 seconds to use the public beach showers.
Spent the day here, hired a bed for the day as beach itself is very stoney. Paid €40 for two beds and parasol, worth every penny. You can prebook these and some are more expensive. Toilets are clean at the restaurant and there are plenty of changing booths and showers on the beach. Restaurant has lovely food but is quite pricey, €28 for a pizza. The sea is really clear, but would recommend water shoes.
Rocky beach just 10 mins walk from the Valamar hotel complexes up on the hill. Stunning views of the headland and Adriatic with crystal clear water and visible shoals of fish; however beach itself has few amenities, i.e. ice cream almost sold out by 1pm. Visited on a Sunday afternoon in late May and wasn't too crowded. Didn't hire the sunbeds so can't comment on the price of those. Worth a visit if you're staying nearby
