We had a very nice dinner outside. Two dishes really stood out: zucchini flower tempura (seasonal dish) and the open lasagna with duck ragout. Staff was SUPER friendly and had really good wine pairings. So enjoy it and also check out the spot right next door. Same owners but locally sourced food in a 20 km radius.
The food was divine! My partner and I decided to go for a fish-centered dinner and we were not disappointed. The seasonal hake and amberjack crudo were incredible. Both recommended by the wonderful serving staff (who’s name I unfortunately forgot). She paired my meal with a lovely pošip. 5 stars all round!
Table by the window very cute. Luca our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. Food was amazing. The cheese foam was delicious with the lamb. The duck 🦆open lasagna was delightful. An incredible night. With amazing company.x
Pod Zidom was the perfect choice for a special evening in Zagreb. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt elegant yet relaxed, creating the perfect setting for a long dinner. The service was exceptional – our waiter was professional, genuinely friendly, and approachable, making us feel welcome throughout the entire evening. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We chose the Open Lasagna with Duck Ragout and the White Fish. The fish was delicate and light, while the duck lasagna was rich, full of character, and packed with flavour. Both dishes were excellent in their own way. For dessert, we ordered the Chocolate and Orange and the Šnenokle. Both were beautifully presented and delicious. To our surprise, the Chocolate and Orange dessert arrived with a birthday candle and was compliments of the restaurant. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture that made an already wonderful evening even more memorable. Excellent food, warm hospitality, and great attention to detail. We will definitely be back.
Pod Zidom Bistro made our Zagreb trip amazing. We enjoyed the meals and great service. The environment is very peaceful and quiet to live the moment. Ian took very good care of us with his charming smile and professionalism. We had tuna tartare as a starter, beef cheeks as main course. All of them was delicious. Just beef cheeks were salty for us but still delicious and slow cooked tender. I recommend the zucchini flowers as a must here. Thank you very much. We will come back definitely.❤️
