The location solves the main problem with Dubrovnik: the Old Town is beautiful and completely unlivable as a base. Lapad is quiet, there's a bus stop a minute from the door, and you're in the Old Town in ten minutes. Best of both. Airport logistics are also easy from here. The Gruz bus station is a short distance away, which is where the airport bus runs. Bolt or Uber is €6-8, or you can walk it in 30-40 minutes. We booked the larger room on the third floor and it's the right call. Spacious, windows facing the hill and the marina, and the building is only a few years old so everything still feels fresh and well-kept. The property has a jacuzzi and back porch too. Watching the sun set over Gruz Harbor from this side of the water is something you won't get from the usual tourist vantage points, and it doesn't get old. Small thing worth mentioning: there's complimentary coffee and tea on the main floor if you run out of what's in the room. Not a big deal until you want a second cup at 7am and it really is. Lucia Vesna at reception is genuinely attentive in the best way. Our airport bus was in the evening and she let us store our bags after checkout so we could spend the day walking around and come back when we were ready. It's the kind of thoughtfulness that sticks with you. Great value and a stay we genuinely enjoyed. We're going back.
We loved their hospitality the rooms are tidy and spacious enough and the instant coffee is our fav from the stay.. there is a jacuzzi next to the building.. and the receptionist Vesna is very great with the communication about the bus stops(which is very confusing for the first timers) and all our questions.. However, when it comes to the location I don’t think it’s the ideal one if your commute is by public bus(which runs hourly in that area) and within a fixed time slot of the day otherwise beaches, boat rides and central bus station are within 2kms radius!
