My wife and I highly recommend a visit to Fratello’s. Elizabeta was an exceptional server. Her attention to detail was outstanding, and her descriptions of each cocktail and menu item were more than explanations, they were storytelling at its finest. She painted such a vivid picture of every dish that you could already imagine the flavors before the first bite arrived. My wife and I are traveling to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary, and although we never mentioned it, we genuinely felt welcomed and cared for throughout the entire evening. That level of hospitality made the experience even more meaningful. We started with the Hoisin Tacos, Beetroot Carpaccio, and the Gazpacho. The gazpacho was incredibly light and refreshing, finishing with a perfectly balanced hint of spice that lingered just enough. For our main courses, we had the Shrimp Gnocchi and the Stone Bass with pea purée. Both dishes were beautifully prepared, but the stone bass was especially memorable—delicate, flavorful, and perfectly complemented by the silky pea purée. To finish, we shared the Semifreddo, which was wonderfully light for a summer dessert, topped with fresh cream and seasonal berries. The entire experience was so exceptional that we came back a second time during our stay. Outstanding food, impeccable service, and a warm atmosphere made Fratello’s one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you, Elizabeta, and the entire Fratello’s team, for helping create such a memorable part of our anniversary travels. We’ll be recommending Fratello’s to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

I have mixed feelings about this place. First of all, despite being advertised as a place with a beautiful view, it is displaced on 3 levels and only the bar level has the best view. From then on your are carried in a weird instructed trip: "if you want to eat a la carte, you have to go on the second level, but if you don't want a 3-course dinner you have to go to the third level with no view" and something about being required to order a main course and a dessert (I might have misunderstood that, so sorry if I'm wrong). From that point on, you "loose access" to half the menu and the drink selection becomes smaller. I understood those are the internal rules of the place, but that does not mean they're not bad. I could ignore that but the atmosphere was lacking too. There were two servers, one that was very kind and polite (my guess is that he was a more recent employee) and one that made us feel very very rushed. The whole sitting made us feel like we weren't welcome there. The food was not bad, but nothing spectacular to say the least. I had a squid-shrimp risotto, but the shrimp did not taste very fresh and the risotto was a bit watery and not nearly creamy enough. The ravioli was fine and so were the deserts, so I will give the food a pass. The cocktails were great in all honesty. I have seen many people mentioning that the terrace next to us has live concerts ever so often, and so was the case for us too. We didn't mind it but if you want to enjoy a nice, silent dinner with someone, maybe check their schedule as well. Overall, if you come for some food and drinks, it is not a bad place to dine, but the internal rules, mediocre service and high prices left me with the feeling that it is not worth bothering with this place, for now.

I have always wanted to come to this restaurant for the view, ambience and food. I read the reviews carefully and ordered the ravioli pasticada and the white fish. Both were delicious and the service was great! Fun fact: There is a wonderful outdoor theater right next to the restaurant showing movies a few nights a week. Apparently, it has been around for over 50 years!

Great experience! We have been traveling throughout Greece and Croatia for the last two weeks. This was one of our best meals for sure. The view is spectacular. All of the food we had was high quality, well thought out, and delicious. We talked with Tom and he gave us great recommendations for the area. This is the type of restaurant we look for in every city but only find on occasion. We opted to do the three course dinner and it was definitely worth it. I would also say I think the prices were lower than other fine dining restaurants in the area.

1. Delicious food 2. Beautiful view 3. Attentive service Fratellos plays the classic Dubrovnik trick: lure you in with the view, then quietly justify the bill with food that’s better than it strictly needs to be. The shrimp tacos arrive warm, not volcanic, not lukewarm, just chef’s-kiss temperature. Light batter keeps things crisp without turning the shrimp into deep-fried ballast, and the hoisin shows admirable restraint. At 9€, they punch at their weight. The clam and mussels spaghetti lands steaming and glossy with butter, unapologetically rich and comfortingly briny. The pop of ikura adds a cheeky flourish that feels slightly fancy for a seaside casual. At 25€, it’s pricier than what the most recent google menu suggests, but still lands firmly in “worth it” territory. Portions won’t leave you full bellied and waddling home, but they do what they promise. The real luxury, though, is the view, wide, calm, and smugly beautiful, served with a peaceful, uncrowded atmosphere that makes the premium feel less like a sting and more like a wink. Was fine for peanut allergy.
