We did something that we never do: we came to the same restaurant twice.. it was this good! Delicious, authentic, modern Croatian cousine, accompanied by great local wines. Nice decor, good service and great music. Will definitelycome back on the next opportunity!
Very tasty food, delicious. Service is nice, funny, professional and very fast. The atmosphere is just great. Modern and clean. I highly recommend. Great for kids too!
Batak Centar Cvjetni was a wonderful introduction to Balkans cuisine and easily earns a 9/10 from me. The restaurant itself has a modern, stylish, and welcoming interior that creates a very relaxed atmosphere. It felt like the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely dinner in Zagreb. Since it was our first time trying Bosnian food, we really appreciated our server, Edwin, who was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. He took the time to explain the menu and helped us choose some of the restaurant’s most popular dishes. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Ćevapi, which was an easy 10/10. The meat was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We also tried the Burrata, which was surprisingly delicious. The combination of meat on bread paired with onions and the roasted pepper sauce worked exceptionally well together (9/10). The grilled chicken thigh was cooked perfectly with a wonderful crispy exterior while remaining juicy inside, though it could have used just a touch more seasoning (9/10). The only dish that fell short was the ribeye. The flavor was good, but our cut contained quite a bit of silver skin, which made parts of it difficult to chew (7/10). A special shout-out to Edwin for providing outstanding service throughout the evening. Despite looking after several large parties, he remained attentive, checked on us regularly, and made us feel genuinely welcome. To top it all off, he surprised us with two special drinks at the end of the meal, which was a very thoughtful gesture. Overall, I highly recommend Batak Centar Cvjetni to anyone visiting Zagreb. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and exceptional hospitality made for a memorable dining experience.
DON'T COME HERE IF YOURE A TOURIST!!! Because once you were here you want to come back to Zagreb only for this restaurant ;) Antonio was such a nice waiter and I enjoyed every second I was there. The cevape are very juicy and so tasty! Antonio gave me very good recommendation for everything. You even get a 1-litre Karaffe of tap water for free and I also got a traditional blueberry aperitif on the house. Definitely will come back!! Cheers
Excellent location! Antonio was a great server and the food was wonderful. We tried the burrata, the meat on the bread appetizer (can’t remember the name), the trio of meats, potatoes, and a side of veggies. All were great!
