We spent 10 days at Buqez Resort in Drage, from August 3 to 13. 2026. We rented our villa through Laros Villas, and I have to say that the villa itself was 10/10. Unfortunately, I would rate Buqez Resort only 7/10 because of several issues. First, there is a large communal parking area, which in itself is absolutely fine. What I found disappointing was that the receptionist watched me, as a woman travelling with two children, struggle to carry our luggage from the parking area, without mentioning that there are small luggage carts available to make this much easier. How is a first-time guest supposed to know about this if nobody tells them? A little information at check-in would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, another guest also scratched our car in the parking area and, naturally, did not take responsibility for it. If there are security cameras covering the parking area and you are able to help identify what happened, I would appreciate it if you could contact me. The car is a grey Toyota Corolla with Hungarian registration plates. Another issue was that every day, a blonde woman came directly in front of our beachfront villa to let her dog relieve itself. She did clean up afterwards, which I appreciate, but I still find it quite unpleasant to have a dog repeatedly urinating next to the oleanders directly in front of another guest's villa. It is simply not appropriate in such a setting. At check-out, I also asked about the local olive oil because I had personally seen a sign advertising local olive oil at the entrance to the reception. I was simply told, “We don't have any.” That's fine — if you don't want the business, I bought it elsewhere.Finally, since we stayed for almost two weeks, I would have appreciated having access to laundry facilities. I did not see any information or signs explaining whether there was a washing machine or laundry service available for guests. Overall, the location and our villa were excellent, and we had a pleasant holiday. However, better communication with guests, especially at check-in, and a little more attention to these practical issues would significantly improve the experience.
