We stopped for dessert after being turned away many other places due to being dinner time and only wanting dessert and drinks. I’m so happy this happened as the service was impeccable and the dessert and drinks were very very good. I highly recommend to stop. I will return to try the full food menu if given the chance.
The food was just okay. I had much better experiences in other restaurants in Croatia during the week of my stay. When I arrived the host did not understand that I had a reservation for 1 person for roof top terrace and told me to book and come tomorrow. When I explained that I do have one, he let me in. During my 1,5 hour dinner (19:00-20:30) only 1 more table in addition to mine was occupied. This is a bit weird to refuse a guest while the sitting is not full. After I was informed that they only serve 3 course menue which costs 125€ (which is overpriced for what it was). This information together and prices were not communicated during the reservation or on the website of the restaurant. I decided to still stay and enjoy but even the food was just okay. Very disappointing experience, unfortunately. The only great thing about this restaurant is an amazing view on the old town.
Ordered the set menu where you can choose one starter and one main dish, and the waitress even poured me a glass of wine to pair with my choices. The portions were generous and everything tasted great. The staff were friendly and had extensive knowledge of local wines — I got a brief introduction to the local grape variety and the pairing was spot on. I really enjoyed this meal. Sadly, the upstairs terrace is closed for the winter season, but you can still sit in the alley and enjoy some people-watching. Overall, great dinning experience ! Highly recommend!
A solid dinner spot with tasty food. We got the fish and meat set menus during Food Festival in Dubrovnik. It didn't blow me away but everything was good and well cooked. The service was fantastic and it's a great spot to enjoy a romantic dinner slightly away from the crowds on the main street.
The location is outstanding. But it is not worth doubling the prices. This is not “gastronomic” experience (except for the desert), this is a good quality restaurant, no more than this. Paying for a set dinner as in a 2 star Michelin, one may expect more sophistication delicacy and balance next to the spectacular view. The service was excellent so.
