From the moment we arrived at Hotel Plaža Duće, the exceptional service began. We were greeted with huge smiles at reception, and the staff took the time to explain everything clearly. Nothing was ever too much trouble, whether it was arranging a taxi or helping us book a river cruise. We stayed in room 807, which had a fantastic view that we thoroughly enjoyed, especially in the mornings and late afternoons. The breakfast selection was excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit everyone, and once again, the staff were friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. The pool and spacious sunbed area provided the perfect place to relax and unwind throughout our stay. We would highly recommend Hotel Plaža Duće to anyone visiting the Omiš area – a wonderful hotel with outstanding service and a truly welcoming atmosphere.
The hotel is spread across three levels, and reaching the upper rooms is almost an experience in itself – you take multiple elevators, but it’s absolutely worth it. I highly recommend booking a room from floor 9 upwards, as the views over the ocean and nearby islands are simply breathtaking. And yes – a sandy beach in Croatia really exists, and this is the place! The beach is small, quiet, and perfect for relaxing. You can walk around 100 metres into the water, which is very rare for this region. There’s also a beach bar, and unlike many famous Croatian beaches, it’s not overcrowded or full of stones – truly a hidden gem. The hotel itself offers spacious rooms, a beautiful rooftop pool and bar, and overall a very high level of comfort. Omiš – one of the most stunning towns on the Riviera – is just a 3-minute drive away, making the location ideal. Parking can be a bit limited, with only a few free spots (around 7) directly opposite the hotel. Otherwise, there’s a garage available for €12 per night or alternative options a short walk away. A supermarket is conveniently located just around the corner. We stayed in three different hotels during our trip, and this one was by far the best. You simply can’t go wrong staying here.
We had an amazing time at this hotel, the staff were excellent always willing to help and make you feel comfortable. Our room was amazing we stayed in room 1306. Excellent view. The facilities were amazing and the food was good as well. Plenty of options for vegan. My husband had left his wallet in the pool bar restaurant on the last day and the staff run after us and returned it. We would definitely return to this hotel. The ambience of the whole hotel is amazing, peaceful, clean and perfect experience for taking time out of busy work schedules.
Jet2 were well organised with plenty of staff in both Birmingham and Split to guide and welcome. Plane was on time crew and pilot were friendly and professional. Absolutely fabulous hotel near Omiš, room was amazing and staff brilliant. Good choice of food at the buffet and a poolside restaurant available too. Roof top area by the pool to sit and enjoy a drink. Spa facility included a small pool, jacuzzi, saunas and steam room. Our room had a wonderful sea view, the curtains open and close automatically. There is a safe and a fridge, iron and ironing board also an umbrella. Bathroom is large with bath, shower and 2 sinks, hair dryer and toiletries. We found the evenings difficult as there was no entertainment whilst we were there and we felt Omiš was a bit far to go to of an evening. We did a couple of trips into Split, a very interesting old town with lots of history, small shops and restaurants. We felt the let down was the evenings. A comfortable lounge area with a bar should be considered. Not the best location out of season See less
I can not praise this hotel enough, absolutely fantastic, the whole vibe was just right for a relaxing & peaceful holiday. I have never stayed anywhere so true to the brochure, it was picture perfect. The food options were outstanding, compliments to the chefs. From the restaurant staff, reception staff, spa staff and even house keeping, all were so helpful, happy, chatty and made our holiday that bit more special. The beds were so comfortable, room spacious and clean, travel to nearby towns was simple on the local buses. We went out of season, so relaxing. Highly recommend.
