In the middle of the city, yet off the beaten path, you will find a thrilling skywalking experience capped with a breathtaking panoramic view. You will meet your local expert guide at the foot of Split’s famed stadium, Poljud, a pearl of architecture, a national landmark and part of our protected heritage. He will guide you behind the scenes of the Stadium, walking and standing where most locals have never been. You will be using service paths and catwalks high above the field, made publicly accessible exclusively for this tour. After exploring the inner side of the imposing rooftop structure, you will pass the outside perimeter of the stadium, and finally climb to the top of the roof to soak in the stunning view and take unparalleled selfies. Along the tour, you will realize Poljud Stadium's global architectural importance. Did you know a replica was built? You will find many other amusing details as well. Also, you will discover the recent architectural history of Split and its development from socialism into present-day democracy. Intertwined, you will hear a history of the local century-old soccer club and its dedicated supporter group, Torcida. Starting times are subject to change depending on a schedule of the Hajduk soccer team training and matches. Most of the tour is roofed so it can be carried up even on a rainy day, but we reserve the right to postpone it due to very strong winds, heavy rain, and/or electric storms, for safety reasons. If your Skywalk Poljud has been canceled, we will endeavor to reschedule your participation in a time that is suitable for you.
