Description
Discover the rich history of Hajduk Split, a unique football club with a rich history, many trophies, and thousands of fans all over the world. Visit the Poljud Stadium, a masterpiece by Boris Magaš, one of the most prominent Croatian architects. At the time of its construction (1979), it drew great experts' attention, along with the Olympic stadium in Munich, as a breakthrough of the sports architecture.
Learn about the club's foundation in Prague, all the way to a spectacular centennial celebration. Hear about many legendary players and coaches, trophies, iconic matches and tours, and plenty of emotional and interesting stories will make your visit to Hajduk's home unforgettable.
Visit the trophy room, home to over 1,500 items, including cups, gifts, flags, t-shirts, and memorabilia. See the original Yugoslav cup (17 kilos), which was hidden for 20 years, and today it is one of the most attractive exhibits in the trophy room. See Manchester United’s gift, a memento from a 1980 friendly match at Poljud Stadium against Manchester United. The result was 6:0, and that’s the worst defeat in the history of MUTD outside Great Britain.
See the first Croatian championship trophy, which Hajduk won in the first championship in Croatian’s history. Pass through a hallway with old photos of players. Enter the press room and take photos at the coach's place. Enter the VIP lounge, hear the story about the stadium, architect Boris Magaš, and the unique roof structure.
