The D-Resort Šibenik certainly provides all the amenities you would expect from a high-quality resort, including a great variety of restaurants, bars, pools, and a spa. The rooms are well-equipped with all the essentials and offer beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea. Roughly half of the rooms face the stunning marina, which we were lucky enough to overlook, while the other half face the town of Šibenik and a slightly less picturesque cargo loading area. However, even from that side, you still get a sea view. There are two outdoor pools, and the best part is how quiet they are; I was often the only person swimming. The resort does have a certain element of isolation. While you could take a stroll into Šibenik, it is not much fun during the high summer temperatures. Therefore, it is highly recommended to have a hire car or another form of transport; otherwise, you might feel a bit cut off. What truly elevates this hotel is the staff. They are absolutely delightful, always willing to help, and quick to greet you with a smile. Every single team member we encountered was incredibly welcoming. The property also boasts the most magnificent views, particularly at sunset, and the spa was fantastic (highly recommend the Couples Retreat package). All in all, a wonderful experience from top to bottom. The only downside that bugged me was the substandard water pressure in the bathroom. If you tilt the shower head upwards, the flow is simply too weak, so do not expect a powerful, comforting shower.
We visited D-Resort specifically for their spa and booked the "Couples Escape" massage, and it was absolutely fantastic. The massage itself was high-quality, deeply relaxing, and is highly recommended if you are looking for a premium treatment. The resort itself is a beautiful and very well-maintained property. A big plus is the option to park your car in the garage, which keeps it cool and secure. While the spa facility isn't overly large, it is very elegant and features a lovely pool with a beautiful view overlooking the boats in the marina. Overall, a great experience and the perfect place to unwind!
Excelent location! I would say, impressive architecture and design. The rooms and the surroundings are following the same trend. The breakfast is at a good level, but the breakfast view from the terrace makes it an awesome experience. The only reason I have not given the five stars, was that in my room, the shower pressure was below acceptable. I have announced the hotel personnel from the reception, but nothing.
What a wonderful surprise this hotel was. It was quiet with excellent service and outstanding food and views. The staff could not do enough to help. Thanks for a memorable stay.
The location of the resort is next to a large marina with a beautiful view of the city of Šibenik. Very quiet area, safe parking. Very beautiful building and interior, beautifully furnished modern rooms. Clean, fragrant, pleasant. The advantage of this hotel is the employees. From the first contact at the reception, to the breakfast room, the cleaners you meet and who tidy up the rooms beautifully twice a day, to the SPA, everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, always smiling and hospitable. You don't experience such hospitality everywhere. Everything is wonderful…we would only like some shortcuts or a shorter passage from the hotel to the SPA center. But you overlook that too, because you feel so good being the guest here. Thank you D-Resort.
