Lovely cosy area - food is absolutely delicious and very convenient for gluten free customers with their gf mains - which were delicious! Staff are also so lovely and kind!!! We stayed in Split and came here twice for food as staff & food were 5 stars!!!! thank u!!!! X x x
The owner was one of the coolest guys ever, American guy now living in Croatia. He was so chill and very excited to see Americans again. He talked to us for a while and was incredibly down to earth. He makes the sauce himself and it had some good kick to it. The food was so nice to have some comfort food being so far away from home. The vibe inside was chill. Hard to get a spot outside because it is so cool outside in the evening so make sure you get there in time if you want to eat outside.
This place is truly a little hideaway in Split. It’s so good, the service was quick, and the food was truly worthy of a 5/5 from me. I’ve had Mexican food in parts of the world, but in the Balkans? This place was good. And after being away from home for a few weeks, I’ve been craving this. I will be back.
I tried the beef barbacoa tacos and they were solid! The tacos came with a generous amount of tender, flavorful meat, which I really appreciated. The red salsa was the standout, bold, tasty, and perfectly complementary. Overall, a tasty and satisfying option. I’d definitely come back for these tacos again.
Small restaurant with a big taste! Every single item we ordered was full of flavor. Not a single bite was left from our group. The wet burrito was hands down the best!!
