You must go to this place! My wife is vegetarian and had amaranth and zucchini balls in coconut curry sauce, I had three different sushi/taco dishes and my daughter had a poke bowl. We were all bowled over. Outstanding food and great people running the restaurant. The best value we've had since we've been in Dubrovnik
The reason I stopped by is because I read “tacos” in the chalkboard where the menu is written. It was an amazing decision. The tacos were yummy (the tortilla is made of flour not corn). I had the spicy tuna tostadas and they were delicious as well. The mixture of ingredients makes the flavor of both dishes very nice. I would come back and I recommend to try. I passed by at 7ish pm, is better if you have a reservation. I went away and came back at 9 pm and I didn’t have a problem getting a table.
A MUST visit if you are in Dubrovnik. My three friends and I had such a special experience at Azur thanks to the lovely service of Leo and the owner. The food - superb! A fantastic take on Asian fusion with such high quality seafood. Get the CroAsian Seafood Laksa and even a side of rice to soak up the yummy broth. Our servers pointed out the gluten free options for me and were very knowledgeable when answering any questions. This is a place where you can feel the love and intent behind every detail, and arrive as strangers but leave as family.
A truly fantastic meal. The wait staff was attentive, friendly, and very willing to assist with dietary restrictions. The sushi was fresh and delicious. The curries are complex but not overly rich. The surprise hit for our group was the Fried Cauliflower bites. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Aside from the excellent food and service, the location is a breath of fresh air. Dubrovnik is very very crowded. Azur is in a tucked away corner of the city. It allows for a pleasant amount of privacy which would be impossible for many of the other restaurants in the city. Be sure to make a reservation because there is very limited seating. We were able to make a reservation about 6 hours before we wanted to eat. I cannot recommend this spot enough!!
Booked a table upfront for a birthday. We got there a bit early but got a table outside. The staff was very welcoming. The food was excellent. Anything we had was great. The server gave us some good ideas and we followed. The tart at the end was on the house.
